This project represents a pioneering endeavour in the development of sustainable ecosystems for social entrepreneurs in the Visegrad and Western Balkans regions. Through an innovative assessment methodology, developed by the Youth Alliance Krusevo (YAK), we are creating the foundation for systemic support for social enterprises.
The project builds on earlier work in the field of social entrepreneurship, as well as on previous projects supported by the Visegrad Fund, which the applicant has implemented with various partners from WB6 and V4 countries. Through earlier work on the topic of social enterprises and cooperation with V4 countries, we have come to understand that social enterprises need to be supported in a more complex way and that, in order to create an environment that not only supports the creation of social enterprises but also ensures their sustainability, we must be able to better understand the various elements that have an impact on the entire social enterprise ecosystem.
The project is being implemented by the NGO Center for Youth Education in cooperation with seven partners from the following countries: North Macedonia - Youth Alliance Krusevo (YAK), Bosnia and Herzegovina - Center for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship "Globus" (CDP), Kosovo - Forum for Civic Initiatives (FIQ), Poland - Foundation for Social and Economic Initiatives, Slovakia - Slovak Open Solidarity, Czech Republic - Mission: Reconnect, z.s. and Hungary - Foundation for Sustainable Entrepreneurial Initiatives.
