The EUth Negotiators of the Future Regional Youth Forum, aimed at educating young people about the process of accession negotiations with the European Union and the importance of regional cooperation, will be held from October 1 to 3, 2026 in Podgorica. The implementation of this program is led by the Strategers Institute, in partnership with Partners Albania, the NGO Center for Youth Education and the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA), with the clear goal of introducing young people to the process of European integration.

The mission of the program is to make it easier for young people to understand the complex processes of diplomacy and encourage them to actively participate in public policy-making at the local and regional level. The vision encompasses the creation of a strongly networked region where young people, regardless of their previous experience, develop their full leadership potential through civic engagement and directly contribute to the European future of the Western Balkans.

The program covers three countries, i.e. North Macedonia, Albania and Montenegro, and a total of 21 young people will have the opportunity to participate, namely seven from each country. The call is open to students, young professionals and youth activists aged 18 to 30, who will connect with experts on the premises of ReSPA and directly experience the practical simulation of EU negotiations. In addition to practical work on the simulation, through a series of professional sessions, interactive discussions and joint group work, participants will acquire specific knowledge about negotiation practices and youth participation.

Young people will have the opportunity to exchange perspectives and work together to develop recommendations for the Regional Youth Policy Document, in order to independently and argumentatively represent the interests of their generation.
