Through the project "Active Youth" we enabled the promotion of non-formal education among young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, with an emphasis on advocating for and raising awareness of the concept of the circular economy. Additionally, project participants are better informed about the document "Green Agenda for the Western Balkans".

We believe that young people are generally not familiar with the concept of the circular economy and through various workshops we want to introduce them to simple tips that they can implement in their daily routine. Through the workshops we want to address the reduction of food and plastic waste, how and what we can reuse and recycle. In the aspect of raising awareness, we want to combine community activism and education on the circular economy in accompanying activities.
